One of a collection of apartments in a stately mansion in the centre of Florence, this home manages to retain some of the building's grand period features while also incorporating contemporary features. Both the living area and bedroom benefit from high vaulted ceilings that are embellished with intricate decorations. These contrast rather strikingly with the sleek minimalist kitchen, glossy floor tiling and muted grey furnishings. Add to that a stylishly designed bathroom that wouldn't look out of place in a spa and you've got an address that feels distinctly Florentine without being stuck in time. If that wasn't enough, many of the city's most famous attractions sit within easy walking distance of the home.
